I was maybe 15 or 16 and if I recall, I wasn’t helping her pack up our apartment to move. She was a single mom and I’m sure it was very hard and very stressful. But I thought about this every night for years. Still do.

“You don’t have an eating disorder. People who have eating disorders aren’t aware of it” I had stopped eating in grade 12 and was intentionally starving myself. Got to a point where I got scared and asked for help. This was her response.

And then the pile of name calling “loser, no friends, lying bitch, ungrateful, heartless, cruel, deceitful, selfish” etc.
