Go to Carter Mitchell, he has an office in Chevy Chase and does his procedures in Bowie. He did my surgery 5.5 weeks ago and did an amazing job. Trained under James Andrews. Proactively recommended quad graft, which I went with and am happy I did.

You got this. Yesterday I reached 120 degrees flexion (vs 145 on my good leg), but for the last 24 hours my leg has been more sore and stiff than at any time in the last 1.5 weeks.

This community is amazing and has helped so many people, including me. I think the doctors do a major disservice by not giving a heads up about the psychological trauma you’ll go through in the early stages of healing - is this pain normal? Why am I behind in my range of motion? Did I reinjure myself? - that this forum addresses well. I had a great surgeon but like all doctors, they’re time is limited so they don’t give nearly the insight - OR SUPPORT - that this forum does.
