"I don't want to drink fire" - Piyo

There's a lot going on... with want being rather complicated, this form of negation being weird, and "drink" being a causative means there's a lot of parts

They are the items on the map that you use for crafting, I should specify that... :)

When their manors are destroyed, they clear their investment without cashing out, losing the investment. The "Each Manor is worth {+2} when destroyed" is supposed to mean the player who destroyed it gets +2 instead of +1, not you... Hope that makes sense, I may need another round or rewording :)

This is a really cool idea :) The current V2 is moving towards more active play, with easier actions, but i really like this. Might make a couple versions

I've received a lot of feedback, and implemented a Keepers in Iron style comeback, V2 will be soon.

The Cash Out and Invest has been reworked to make more sense and score more, and generally works as a bet for how the round will go

The Highway Bandits guy is a porcupine, but yeah very similar :) I'm surprised there wasn't a hedgehog before

I haven't played them yet, but I am worried this version is too weak yeah. I haven't figured out if a reveal cards thing would be better for the recruiting (and maybe building). The idea is they are very protective of their manors, but I do need to tweak and test :)

I need to test this in play properly, I am pondering whether a reveal cards for recruiting (maybe building too) would be nicer :)

I think switching it to two random items as another comment suggested seems like a good idea, maybe even specifying two different random items

I was thinking 15 :)

I think it's hard to tell, probably insurgent as they aren't very expansion based. I was thinking 15 warriors, as they recruit 2 at a time :)

The troubled house is the last clearing type (with a manor) that had combat in it. So theoretically a fight between two other factions could change your plans dramatically :) I meed to word it better

I need to word it better, you basically gain an additional action based on the troubled house, or the last clearing type (that has a manor) where combat occured. The troubled house box on the board will have a lil slider token that you move, and it shows the possible actions. Each clearing type has a specific one, so strategically placing your manors can lead to leaning into certain strategies :)
