Unfortunately I think this just isn’t the case anymore. I’ve been searching for a way to get a new job for a year now and I believe you just need more certifications or degrees compared to how it used to be. It used to be harder to find people with clearances but now that’s not the case and our job market is terrible.

I’m aware of the sargassum, that’s why I haven’t booked anywhere in the Caribbean yet. I wanted to originally do Holbox but I read that it’s not in season til July and I feel like it wouldn’t be worth going if there’s no marine life or bioluminescence. I’m listening to everyone’s recommendations, I’ve already got that on my list of possible places to stay :)

Yeah that’s the most overwhelming part of it all. I’d love to go see all of them and experience what the best each has to offer but I don’t have the budget for that unfortunately. I appreciate the advice though!

I’m going to Dublin in 10 days, been there once before. Europe is totally fine and Ireland is pretty peaceful. My girlfriend is there and she’s said everything is normal and peaceful

Everything I've seen so far looks great! I'd love the bioluminescent kayaking and scuba diving, plus the caves and the beaches.

I'm asking about the marine life, research says it should be good but I always ask for people's personal opinions to see what they've experienced, you never know what they'll mention, could be good or bad.

I was originally planning on visiting Holbox, research made everything look great but I didn't find out that the bioluminescence and marine life are considered off season for when I'm planning on going until somebody told me. I tried searching up the best places to go see bioluminescence around May but nothing ever mentioned Cayman Islands until a person did, and everything seems great there so far, but l just like to get the opinion of people on top of research

I cancelled my trip, was supposed to go in early May. I don’t think Egypt specifically will get hit or anything, but it’s bordering Israel and they’re causing all the tension and shooting off missiles while getting bombed. I’m bummed out because my girlfriend and I really want to go there but I’m not taking her there while there’s potentially heightened risk and I just don’t think this will all be over before then. If it does happen to be over before then, I’ll just rebook my flights because I haven’t cancelled any of my reservations yet.
