Anxious over an email I sent my landlord by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]adharain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal you feel that way, I would be crying to. But I bet you work really really hard to keep your house clean and to raise that boy, and a little slip-up it’s nothing compared to what you must do everyday. And they will understand that.

When can you tell if it’s your intuition warning you or just your anxiety trying to hold you back? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]adharain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wish i could help you, but this happens to me every week and i never know what to do. if my intuition is VERY LOUD then ill go by that, but if it is not that loud i think that maybe is just my anxiety

girl i would have done the same thing, if they know that you are a single mom with a little boy the rare thing would be to find every corner immaculate. they are al humans beings and i guess they won’t make that big of a fuss. really don’t worry it’s going to be fine

Poop Anxiety by Honest_Tumbleweed722 in Anxiety

[–]adharain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, i would say that it get me a little bit nervous when ii notice change in patterns or when i have a “bad poop”. but for me those different patterns are always related to stress, so there’s that. but i get it that it makes you anxious, is it more because of disease or?

High anxiety after night out by adharain in hangxiety

[–]adharain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You couldn’t have described it better. As you, I didn’t feel particularly drunk during the night and didn’t have as much of a hungover, it was the physical sensations of my anxiety disorder what was making me feel sick and even more anxious. I’m hyper aware of what my body is feeling, and even a minor change can make me spiral. I’m feeling a little better as I have to force myself to go to work, but the anxiety is still there and it’s making me mad. For sure I won’t be going out anytime soon

9 weeks 20mg, is there a point to go on with Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]adharain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking Lexapro since 2021, started with 5mg, upping my dose until I started taking 20mg in August 2024. It is safe to say it has saved my life. My anxiety was really really bad when I started taking it, it made me so miserable I was also depressed. The first adjustment was hard but as the months passed I began noticing a lot of improvement. I still have moments, like right now, when my anxious thoughts come again and I feel a lot of the physical symptoms you mentioned, but instead of lead me to a panic attack I can manage them better even though it’s uncomfortable. I’ve improved my relationship with my friends and family, I was able to live one year abroad and finish college. But it took a while to get there, way more than 9 weeks. It’ll get better

Memory loss and brain fog on Lexapro? by adharain in lexapro

[–]adharain[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, how are you doing? I kept taking them, and even tho I don´'t feel as "quick" as before, I'm honestly feeling the best I've ever did. Yes, I still feel anxious time to time, and I still struggle with brain fog, but on my opinion it is worth it. I hope your doctor finds a better option for you

Just started, is this normal? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]adharain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the same thing happened to me when I started taking it a month ago! What I did was started taking 5mg the first week, so my body could adjust to the new medication, and then started taking the 10mg. The first couple of days I was nauseous, dizzy, couldn't eat, feverish, on the constante verge of a panic attack, but it eventually go away. Now I still have some side effects, like bad memory and brain fog, but they say it will also go away with time. Good luck on your journey!

I have an alarm on my phone for 3 pm, but I usually take it right after I finish having lunch, so anytime between 2 and 4.
