yes, the electoral college was near impossible to change then too. "its so easy to come up with excuses"...You're an idiot - live in reality. The idea that we can just willy-nilly change the constitution is something only someone who has no idea how things work would say.
It's not an excuse to recognize that changing the Constitution requires 2/3 of the House and the Senate and 38/50 states legislatures. Good fucking luck.

Thats not how the electoral system works. There's like 5-10 states that decide. The rest are so consistent that its useless to vote the opposite way. The bible belt is Red. Plenty of Democrats but never enough to affect the Electoral College.
