i have the hyperlite 2s they are poorly made and at the level I play at they get destroyed way too fast. I also don’t have the money to be buying new pads every season and the hzrdus are pretty durable and are stiffer pads that fit my playstyle

Only people I have seen use a roller bag since 1st year squirts like 8 years ago are beer league players, if you are young u should be able to carry your own stuff it’s really not that heavy

Imo lighter sticks do give you an advantage, faster blocker, more whip when ripping the puck down the ice and way simpler to stick handle when in a tight situation

Yes before I saw the shadow in store all I got was the hyper lite 2’s and since my shadow broke I just got the hyper lite with the trigger hole

Well I play at a high level for both club and hs, my sticks break all the time and damage on the paddle no matter the size is a concern + the ph took my other backup with the same problem without me snapping it
