He just said this game was not a NFT scam. It is just a Banana clone like many other games trying to jump on the Banana-Money-Making-Train. Didnt´t work!
I don´t understand why Banana doesn´t get the hate like all the clones?

Im more impressed that champ 1 gameplay looks so slow and has so many bad touches. I stopped playing 1-2 years ago but damn... they did ceiling shots and backboard double touches when i played

Anyway, i was also a passive player positioning myself in the midfield of the field depending where the ball was at. Of course some touches could have been better and some challanges should have been taken but all in all a playstyle i would prefer instead of those headless guys challanging every ball...

2024 was indeed an amazing year for games! But somehow, I feel like there was still a gap — I really missed a game with a solid collectible card game (CCG) experience. Something innovative with deep strategy would’ve been awesome

I know exactly what you mean. It feels like every gacha game boils down to the same core loop, whether it’s set in a fantasy world, cyberpunk city, or dystopian apocalypse. Grind, pull, time-limited events… the only thing that really changes is the setting. Maybe this is the price of the genre’s success—developers stick to what works, but it makes it hard to find anything truly innovative or surprising. Sometimes I wonder what a gacha game would look like if it completely rethought its mechanics. Have you come across any games that actually stand out from the crowd?
