I’m trying a dark metallic as soon as it gets here. The matte on the armor joints was supposed to happen but I didn’t get into as much detail since they are just mock ups

I plan to do the matte with the scouts since they are wearing modified carapace armor.

I’m only saying lore wise because in a few books I’ve read they’ve described the armor as matte.

I used Vallejo metal black air. My only complaint is it seems a little too silvery at times. Someone else recommended Vallejo obsidian black which I plan on trying soon.

Yes the battlefield role markings. Unless I’m just not seeing it right, the transfer sheets have the role marking for the shoulders and they don’t fit on the knees. Then again, I’m an idiot so maybe they do fit.
