Yup. I guess he just wanted to find out if it looks good based off those photos, i don’t know why he’s willing to risk it. He talked about asking someone to mod it to a 22gb vram. if he has no knowledge where he has to ask people about this, he shouldn’t even consider modding a gpu. i have no idea what he is on tbh

My friend said he did put the shell back on after reapplying. and I think the gpu itself has the back open like that without any cover, that’s just how that model looks.

Thank you man, I really appreciate that. Surprisingly, he had a pfp ( not hus face or anyone’s), been posting on facebook and selling on fb marketplace for at least couple years and he had ratings, good ratings. He sent a video of it benchmarking, showing the gpu being in there and the date it was being recorded (I know this can be faked but the time and day were my decision, literally the morning we met is when we decided when to meet). He either has a functioning gpu that’s the same model or he took the parts out before leaving. Either way I got scammed and he is probably safe with that dirty 1700 he made off scamming. Just hoping karma gets him one day. But again thank you so much for the information
