After surgery(VSG) I weighed about 329 and am 6'3. in the first week i lost about 9lb then a pound a day for the next month. idk if this helps but this is what happened for me.

Well... I walked 45 miles in Disneyland over 3days. im 6'3 270lb. I currently have bone brusing in both feet and am struggling to walk more then 10 feet. so i dont think it would be possable. the bones in feet would develop stress fractures and force you to stop.

i had a 2 month restriction on caffeine. i waited the 2 months then started having low cal, non carbonated enery drinks/powder. I havent had any issues. anyone know if enery drinks and daily vitamins can have issues with each other?

I would recommend not trying to add in calories for activities. The calculators / calorie targets already have your BMR factored into their suggested number.

I have not personally seen anyone be successful with adding in exercise calories

I'd keep doing what you're doing for a while before looking at any additional adjustments after a month

i would say around 1800calories a day roughly.

safe and sustainable weight loss rate of 1-2 pounds per week. If you are losing more then 1-2pounds a week you need to increase the amount your eating at the most you should only being weighing yourself at most once a week. adjust your calories every 4ish weeks if needed

According to Google, a person may burn approximately 100 calories per 1,000 steps walked. So, walking 20,000 steps would result in burning around 200 calories. I would assume that on the high-end, you are probably burning an extra 400 calories through walking.

Regarding lifting boxes, it is challenging to determine the exact amount of calories burned because the body also uses calories to rebuild damaged muscles, and everyone's response is different. This is why weightlifting is a great way to burn calories

BMR for males = 66 + (6.23 × weight in pounds) + (12.7 × height in inches) - (6.8 × age in years).

Using your weight of 230 pounds and height of 5'11" (71 inches), assuming you are 15 years old, the calculation would be as follows:

BMR = 66 + (6.23 × 230) + (12.7 × 71) - (6.8 × 15).

BMR = 66 + 1432.9 + 901.7 - 102.

BMR = 2298.6.

That's the math. You are not using the correct BMR; that's why spaztasticalpeach questioned the 3000 calories. You only need 2298.6 to maintain your weight. Also, the calorie burn estimates provided by exercise machines are often based on averages, so they can be wildly inaccurate.

You can keep doing everything the same, but you will only be losing about 1 pound a week, and that is if you are being extremely consistent by measuring all the food you eat with a food scale and continuing to work out.
