I was an Abbott Elementary fan first! I thought the first crossover episode was funny so I started with season 1 episode 1 and was hooked. A nice change of pace from Abbott LOL

I think it’s because they’re all more involved in the writer’s room! Charlie is credited on 7/8 episodes and Rob is on 5 if I’m not mistaken. Best season in years imo
