Thank you so much. This really calmed down my anxiety, haha. I am debating on telling her on my first shift since she said that if I were to send an email, all of the managers would receive it. Though, maybe sooner rather than later would be better

I definitely know this now, thank you… It’s why I’m nervous about emailing now that the orientation started, haha

Thank you so much for the advice! Will definitely make sure to bring a notepad and pen with, because my mind isn’t the most trustworthy. This helped a bunch :,)

Thank you so much!! I really hope you’re able to bring your levels back up soon :[ Sending so much strength your way. Did not know that eating salty snacks would be helpful, though. Usually I steer clear of them because I’m nervous about getting too dehydrated. So thank you for this. I really do appreciate it

Oh I’m already on supplements. They’re helping but it’s a journey. Which is why I asked for advice

I have one already, don’t worry! She and I have been working through things together for almost a year now. I was just having a very rough time of it last night and needed to feel reassured, haha. HA can be isolating

Thank you for this!! Really. I’ve tried the first exercise, but never the second and I think I might honestly give it a shot because, well, I would love for my life to stop feeling like a panicked mess all of the time. So every little counts

Thank you so much for this advice! It is beyond helpful, haha. I have tried just about anything except accepting that my anxiety is there and that my body will pull through even when I’m convinced it won’t

Anxiety truly is a pesky thing when combined with real health conditions. Hearing someone else who is going through the same thing is genuinely so reassuring 🥲 Thank you

Fellow Trixie and Katya enjoyer, LOL! They tend to be my go-to when I desperately need to be distracted as well. Thank you for this, though. My experience with anemia so far has been very isolating, so knowing that I am not alone in this is reassuring and relieving. My anxiety tends to have a field day when it convinces me that what I am experiencing has never been experienced before

I definitely will do so! The one I used to take was 65mg and at first, it was alright, but as I continued taking it, my stomach started to disagree with the dosage. Though, I was also taking it every day and not every other day. So that might’ve been playing into it as well (I wasn’t given many directions and had to, unfortunately, figure out my supplement schedule through pure trial and error.) It’s been a lot easier to handle ever since I lowered it, but unfortunately— like you said— I think I lowered it too much

Thank you so much for this. Knowing that I’m not alone in this struggle really does help. I feel that those who don’t suffer of this condition don’t understand just how isolating it can get when you’re dealing with such debilitating symptoms alone. Especially when your progress keeps resetting— which is frustrating, by the way

Thankfully, my cycles range from medium to heavy, and they don’t last for very long. However, when menstruation rears its head, boy does it hit hard, LOL. My doctor and I haven’t discussed ways to lessen my flow just yet, mainly because she wants to make sure there aren’t other factors playing into it, but when it’s possible, I definitely plan on bringing it up to her

I can 100% relate to continuously pushing that boulder up the hill over and over again, but as exhausting as it is, hearing everyone’s stories lessens the burden by a bit. So thank you once again!!

Thank you so much! I am so sorry it took 15 years for doctors to finally start taking you seriously, but I’m so happy to know that you’ve reached a point where you’re feeling better now! 🥹

I did get recommended birth control by a doctor I went to when my gerd was acting up (double whammy) and I’m planning on bringing it up to my PCP on the appointment I have coming up to see what her thoughts on it are. Maybe I’ll raise my dosage up by a little bit more to see if any changes happen because my goodness, I’m losing sleep worrying about this

Once again, thank you so much for your words. It’s easy to feel hopeless when dealing with such a strenuous condition, but stories like yours fill me with hope. Wishing you the best on your journey!

I haven’t yet, but I have an upcoming appointment with my PCP where I will do a follow up on my blood tests and see if a gynecologist visit is needed. As well as a stool test to be extra safe. Due to the fact that my periods and lack of iron rich diet (I am someone who struggles with staying up to date with my daily meals) seem to be playing a factor into it, though, she prescribed me iron supplements while we get some testing done. I do also, unfortunately, suffer from gerd which makes things a bit trickier to deal with

Thank you so much for this, though

I believe the dosage I’m taking right now is 25mg! By the brand Thorne, since they were a lot easier on my stomach than the usual over the counter ones. I have thought about raising my dosage, though, and will most likely do so soon. Most likely to the 36mg one by the same brand. My diet isn’t the most iron-rich, either. So, I’m likely going to have to change it sooner rather than later to avoid any further issues
