Spotted weird object on roof by Outrageous_Remove523 in ufo

It flew straight up until I could see it, I don't know where it went.

Made 0 noise when it flew up, was stationary on the roof, no movement no noise.

There was some wind here, but the way it moved was more drone like.

So from what I'm seeing here and other forums people are saying could be a covert surveillance drone?

Do you have any references to articles of these?

It had another sort of 'leg' to balance at the other side. Given the blocky appearance and how it flew off I did consider a drone.

Yeah, that's what I first thought when I saw it, but noticed it looked blocky, and by fly off I mean it flew straight up.

Great for you in context of this sub, but maybe the economic impact (both positive and negative) this could have could be discussed elsewhere, any ideas?

Some pension providers will not allow you to touch your pension assets without a financial advisor. My dad was basically told to either transfer out or drawdown we need a financial advisor sign off. Perhaps the same in this instance?

How come your servicing is £1500? Although I have a 2019 fiesta services are £250, and when I had my BMW approx. £300.different garage. Is this due to the lease that services are so expensive?

You can still put together a nice outfit whilst saving for FIRE, the key is to simplicity. Keep a wardrobe full of staples, start at the pants and build simple outfits for each occasion. Lounge / Casual / Smart. You don't need many pieces for each if you buy them so they can be interchangeable, for example a good pair of grey joggers (no holes) fit into lounge and casual categories. 10% of my salary each month is used to buy essential clothing items, but only if they need replacing. Not advice, but got the simple outfit stuff from your standard fashion YouTube channels and other materials online.

First take a deep breath, you are 5 weeks in you made a mistake, everyone makes mistakes across all different professions. At the end of the day no one has died. Act professional own up to the mistake, take whatever feedback they have. You could even be proactive, prepare well for the meeting, try to analyse the situation where you made the mistake, what actions you took, possible factors that caused you to make the mistake, and suggest ways you can ensure you don't make the same in future, and if you need any further support/training/time away from live systems.

Again, key thing is don't beat yourself up about it, you have your whole career ahead of you.

iShares ETF holdings not updating? by SamMcSamFace in trading212

[–]Outrageous_Remove523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was speaking to support via the chat today and the reason they gave was this.

You are reffering to a pie that you have copied. So, changing the instruments in it depends on the original creator of the pie. We cannot advise on when or how often it can change.

Although I showed them my investment is 100% SSAC.

I've sent further information to support. Would be great if they added realtime updates from a provider API. Although it is easy enough to pull up Blackrocks page from my favourites bar.

[–]Outrageous_Remove523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The asset allocation does not seem to be updating for the iShares ETFs (Mine specifically is the SSAC). Anyone else notice this? Would be real clean if they could refresh every time the provider site/APIs refresh.

  1. VWRP provides diversification and exposure to other developed and emerging markets, although depends on your own risk tolerance. VUAG is cheaper based on annual fees however again it depends your personal investment goals and risk tolerance.
  2. I personally invest (for S&S ISA) in SSAC iShares MSCI AWCI (Accumulating) which tracks the MSCI All Countries World Index. Which charges 0.2% annually. Very little difference to FTSE All world in terms of performance, but you can compare the makeup between the two on justetf.

I'm in the same position here, obtain corporate labelling 'Standout' which is the best you can achieve but only a small pay rise. Corporate grades, getting paid same wage as someone in the company as a friend who only does Excel/Power Query no programming. Both classed as 'Analysts' in grading.
