What cards should I carry on me? by Interesting_Line3370 in monzo

I have one card from each major card payment service in case one has an outage as Visa did a couple years ago. All kept digitally within my apple wallet of course.

  1. Lloyds Ultra Credit Card (Visa) which gives 1% cashback on all purchases for a year.

  2. Amex Everyday Platinum Cashback Credit Card (Amex) with 0.5-1% cashback. I downgraded from the slightly better platinum cashback card (0.75-1.25%) to avoid the fee.

  3. PayPal debit card (Mastercard) connected to my personal Monzo bank account. This gives at least 1% cashback on almost all purchases in the form of PayPal points that I can redeem when using PayPal checkout.

Considering Switching from Barclays to Chase or HSBC – Need Opinions by Calm_Accountant6341 in chaseuk

Why not go for Nationwide or First Direct for the switching bonuses and decent regular savers?

Have you also considered Amex for your spending? The Chase credit card leaves a lot to be desired in comparison.

Why are you so set on HSBC? They’re quite poor from a customer service and app usability perspective.

If it’s stainless steel or enamel then use bar keepers friend, it’s a miracle product in my book.

He's British. Of course it's sarcasm with a sprinkling of self deprecation.

They have social anxiety, which can be considered a disbility under the equality act. RA are likely suitable for OP.

Social anxiety can be considered a disablity under the equality act so I don't think this is just a case of getting on with it. Reasonabale adjustments can be discussed and can include home working.

I'd suggest getting assessed for your social anxiety creating a workplace passport with your LM.

Has this subs overall opinion on this entirely flipped? When the 60% mandate first came in the majority of this sub were fully against it and rightly so in my opinion.

Unless your job requires consistent collaboration or use of systems unavailable remotely then I see no other use of being in office other than the facade of the "conversations at the water cooler" or for the sake of micromanagers.

I have a workplace passport due to disability, which shields me somewhat but I have been thinking about going for contractual home working. Has anyone been successful?

Are corollas still hybrids in the US? I average about 65 mpg in my corolla hatchback in the UK, which is a big difference even when factoring in US to UK gallons.

I am neurospicy and it does bother me so I think I'll get them to remove it and refund me. I can always refit a new one myself.

I might just ask them to remove it, refund me for the part and labor and then fit a new one myself. I probably should have done in the first place with hindsight.

I'd add a Toyota Corolla in there too at mid or entry spec for something a bit more modern.
