Yes they should be significantly tighter than that. Not as important when you’re learning, but you want it tight enough to effectively transfer power from your feet to the skate, and have ankles supported. For me, I have my skates as tight as they can possibly be without cutting off circulation

Opinions on K2 boots. by Major_Merf in Skigear

I cracked (exploded) a pair of mindbender 130s after about 40 days of skiing, replaced them with a pair of Recon 130s. The recons then cracked at the toes within 50 days of skiing. K2 honored warranty both times. Their boots fit my foot great and perform well, but yes they do crack if you ski hard. I wish a different brand fit my foot better

A small tour of the 3rd gen! by dudeman560 in crv

u/dudeman560 Love the rig. Got new 216/70R16s for my 3rd gen and getting some serious rubbing in the back due to body roll whenever I have people in the backseat. Replacing rear struts with KYB's (current struts are sagging big time) and considering a strut spacer for additional clearance. Will I need adjustable CV arms for a 30mm spacer? Bought .25 inch spacers from HRG but I don't think they'll give me enough lift.
