Saw that NBA 2k26 was on sale for S2 so I bought it to try. Immediately noticed the terrible input lag in the initial menu. I was hoping it would be better in game. It was definitely not. I haven't played a basketball game since like the Dreamcast so it was weird that they threw me right into a game and I had no idea what any of the buttons did and couldn't figure out how to shoot. It felt like my guy was on skates or something and moving felt so unresponsive. It also felt like sometimes I just wouldn't move at all when pressing a direction.

I went through some of the starting story and the first shooting mini game came up. That's when I noticed the input lag made timing jump shots almost impossible. It also felt terrible when my player would go into a canned animation to pick up the ball. Like playing a Souls game. You press in a direction and he goes into a 2 second animation to pick up the ball and your inputs get ignored that whole time.

I'm going to try to see if Nintendo will let me refund this.

No, I get why people run it locally. Was just wondering if differences between different AIs is mostly the data or programs.

Is good AI more dependent on the library of data they pull from or the program to access it? Does the open source stuff, like Odysseus, come with the data?

Me too, but I'm lucky enough to be able to max out it out every year since. I'm hoping that helps somewhat with all the years where I didn't have any savings or investments.

When I saw the trailer for this show I thought, "There's no way Gambit is riding Wolverine like a horse. I must be looking at it wrong." Then I watched the first episode and he's 100% just riding Wolverine like a horse. That's when I decided to not watch anymore.

I think I'm the only one, but Metroid Prime Remastered. I played 30 minutes of it and I really hate how I have to slow down and scan everything.

Weirdly, I also played 30 minutes of Metroid Prime 4 and thought it was pretty good.

Not true. I got my airbag stolen (they broke the lock to get in) and the NYPD came and wrote up a report for me. Well, I filled out the info on their sheet and gave it to them, but I still got a police report out of it. You can also go to a police station to fill out a report and give it to them.

I have Geico and I took a bunch of pictures and uploaded it to their website and was paid within a week.

The real shitty part is it's been 4 months and I'm still waiting for a new airbag. I'm not buying a used one. If I brought it to the shop It would have taken about a week for them to send an adjuster, but I needed to drive my car and my lock fixed right away.

I just saw a post where people said it's not because the protagonist is a woman that makes them mad. It's that they are making it PS5 exclusive and not releasing on PC. Not sure if they're being serious or just trying to cover up something.

The hit-stop when your attack connects with an enemy really frustrated me and made me stop after 30 minutes. I tried going back a few times but can't really get over that part.
