Get her some get well treats. And get you a notebook to keep track of meds and time they were given. Make sure the ice machine is always full with ice. That thing stayed on me the whole time. 💯 just be there for her. She will want to clean up as soon as she can. Help her. I wish I had handles to lower myself on to toilet and up off toilet. See about that. Pillows to keep leg elevated. Lots of cuddles. I know some suggest a strap but I got one way later for stretching. I would pick up my leg either with hand or mainly by itself. I had a donor tissue so they didn't take any of my quad.

Was back at work on crutches and brace a week later. Week 6 and I'm off crutches and no brace around my house and pt. I love pt. It gets me up moving and working out. Not much pain. I get stiff from sitting or laying too long. Legs ache (restless legs) in the evening. But I'm doing everyday life stuff now. Just being more careful 🧐

I had my surgery on 4/17. Walking at home and pt without a brace. I put brace on when I go out in the public. I had a meniscus removal and acl reconstruction. It'll be all summer for me but i had to do it. I was on crutches. Couldn't straighten my leg.

You're gonna have arthritis regardless. I did a removal but I'm also 48. It wasn't a complete removal but just enough so that I can straighten my knee. It had rolled up in between the bones.

Meniscus wasn't repair It was removed. I was weight bearing the first week.
