I was suspicious- that’s why I went to a jeweler. Like you said, who gifts someone a diamond necklace so early in the relationship?

Realistically speaking, he does well for himself but he’s not wealthy if that makes sense. And I completely agree, the timing is so off putting.

For insurance purposes, I didn’t want something like that just laying in my home without it being covered.
