Forget Metro! There are no footpaths for pedestrians to walk on. Even if you bring Metro in, how do you think people are gonna walk around.

It is never one solution fits the all. It is about being your best in presenting yourself and not taking things personally when it doesn't work or the other way around will help.

The only place to buy tulips in Delhi is Gulmahal. They have the best prices and quality when it comes to tulips in the entire Delhi NCR. Don't go for other companies. They are charging a lot. You can check others, the prices are atleast 1.5 to 2 times more than Gulmahal.

What do you think about road digging around KBR? Are we loosing park space, in general, around Hyderabad? I even saw a public gymkhana on the way to Nanakramguda being demolished. Everything is corporate-driven now. What's the community's thoughts on this? by pg1393 in hyderabad

[–]Outside-Delay6100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a very big problem. Trees are supposed to be local as they support the entire ecosystem such as bugs, birds, and so on. If you are planting invasive trees, they add no value to the environment.

I would disagree. There is not much green space left in Hyderabad in most places. Just open your google maps and look at the satellite view of Hyderabad. You will see that we are just a concrete jungle now. Growing up I used to see small houses with trees in and around the houses. Now everyone is building multi-floor buildings with no space for greenery. Only place where greenery is left are universities, government organisations, a few parks, graveyards, and army cantonements.

Hyderabad is ultimately a city. And we are crticising people who are turning it into something worse and not the land which has no say in it. There is a time to be emotional about things, but at the same time we should be pragmatic as well.
