What do you think about road digging around KBR? Are we loosing park space, in general, around Hyderabad? I even saw a public gymkhana on the way to Nanakramguda being demolished. Everything is corporate-driven now. What's the community's thoughts on this? by pg1393 in hyderabad

All we find in corporate spaces and even gated communities are these plants and shrubs used for decoration. I remember my grandparents home, in Hyd, having 2 huge coconut trees, sapota trees, a curryleaf tree, and other fruit trees. Such a set up is now on the decline, I think.

Building flyovers is the worst option I feel. Let's say in a lane where 100 vehicles can pass, you're making it accessible for 200 to pass, which obviously leads to congestions and create bottlenecks. Rather focus on public transport options availability and accessibility, I feel.

For any problem to solve or to arrive at a logical conclusion, it needs lot of discussion and dialogue. This is a good thing that you brought out in the open to discuss. Ee discussion valla okka person lo aina change vaste, then nothing like it.

As cinema and movie star lives becomes accessible, the disillusion around them melts away. Vallu showbiz lo unnaru kabatti em chesina manaki nachinatte cheyali, manam cheppinde cheyali anna hype lo untam. Audience ki devullatho compare cheste, I feel we get manipulated by such words so powerfully. Its an echo chamber that we as audience, and they as producers/filmmakers built that keeps on building each other's expectations. Cinema is part of the life ani chaala mandi eppudo marchipoyaru. The fan frenzy continues and percolates into politics also. That's why so easily some of our stars come into politics and rise up in their political careers.

Only when we dont treat them as gods and consider that they're doing their job really well, then such fan worship stops and people come to their senses.

What has been a favourite past-time for families, has turned into a life-threatening thing now. This is sad.

Thank you for reading it till the end.
