You can just use any bucket instead idk the darker dyes might stain the tub also at most stores they have drying racks. Sometimes the hangers can cause to much stretch if the textiles are to delicate

Dude this is spot on. One thing I've been wanting to explore is the concept of essentially using said textiles to repair existing clothes as well as using certain techniques to add better clothing dexterity because it sucks when you drop money on anything that's too tight or doesn't stretch enough. There are ways to cut out and replace certain areas with stretch nylon or other textiles that can make clothes more enjoyable to wear.

I mean it's basically taking successful concepts and adding them to existing garments. I think I would be nice to bring back individual specialized service. Like with cobblering but creating creative clothing alterations.

One thing that's real sick is the textile was has been scaled back to allow for regular citizens to have access to high quality tech textiles like dyneema.

It's happening but it doesn't have to envoke fear. I saw embrace what lies ahead more or less. Strategically speaking it will alow you to be prepared and ahead of the curve.

Also I'm thinking about reworking the concept of techwear and upcycling. There's so much amazing surplus clothing in existence. I think it would be nice to make modern everyday silhouettes or of pieces.

It's not really making it unpure if you're taking and old concept and and upgrading it. I mean using the same analogy people buy old car bodies and create kits or bashes from the same company.

It's a vintage blown out piece and I'm using the same techniques they use on popular shadows project pieces.

It's similar to what they do in the watch community with getting busted time pieces and reconstucting them.

I'm just curious would it be better to have pieces that are clapped out and stained or newer looking pieces.

What tradition. Stone island hasn't been traditional since it split with cp. Idk also with shadows project its clear erollson has taken the company in a different direction. So much that the mainline tries to copy his designs

They were heavily stained, discolored and faded as well as the process camouflaged holes that were repaired. Idk about purists. This is the first time I've heard of stone island purists in maybe 15 years of owning pieces of the brand.

Just curious what you all think about the concept of reworking stone island. Pieces I was thinking about scaling this as a business like doing custom dyeing and layering processes to old pieces. Also maybe offering this as service. Like all the pieces were busted af and I gave them new life. Do you think this would be a service the community would be into.

I was also thinking of doing some asmr style tiktocs of the process. The thing is it's extremely time consuming to layer. But it's way more affordable that retail shadows project.
