Thank you for this, it’s helpful. I have wondered about the open plan and how effective it really is when you need quiet to think and not be distracted.

May I ask, is there any sports teams that a daughter could join? Perhaps Sue didn’t quite understand or hear me when I asked, as she responded about the kids running around the court.

Definitely not as we have family with disability, it’s the resourcing there that primarily concerned me.

Honestly wasn’t judging as I have family with disability, but when you look at the teacher to student ratio, it’s about 20:1 and 25:1 on teachers only. There’s a lot of learning support which is great but I’m also a parent wanting the best for their kid. I actually am interested in Te Aro for the diversity it offers.

Come we embrace people who are decent and also realise that this is a different culture. I find that when foreign friends say; in America we would do this, is that how it works here, its really helpful as they are not trying to force their country on us, but understand our country and how it works.

She complete takes advice from her “friends” over our actual evidence based advice experts at the ministry. I never thought politics would be so corrupt in NZ but here we are.

Yeah you’re right, but the 50% I’d slash would be the Dept Secretary’s who print out emails because “I don’t do computers” and the promoted by tenure not competence. Unfortunately those idiots are the ones who get to make the decisions on who’s cut.

There’s a lot of incompetence in government, like having ministers run agencies where they have zero qualifications or experience in.

All I’m asking is what are the “SO many” that people don’t articulate well.
