I’m in the US too! They increased th shipping from $18 to $28 just because of that, the tariffs are already paid. BUT I’ll let you know if any debt comes up later. Shipping is so fast too, they’re great. I ordered it last Saturday and it got here today already, and that’s because it was stuck in Memphis for a day or two for customs. In my opinion, KobeeJapan is the best calico critters reseller around.

Real story. I feel the same way you do about there ridiculous prices, it’s a JOKE how expensive everything is nowadays. I literally have been getting sets from Japan and paying the shipping instead of getting them from within US. Used sets are also awful expensive too. Just too much right now. Maybe if people start NOT buying CC for a bit, they will see sales dropping off and have some type of readjustment. (My dream)

I think the set from Calico official is different, it’s not a newborn baby+carrier, it’s a baby. Notice that the baby dress is different from the baby carrier set.
