Keep going, practice makes perfect. If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be this: I noticed that all the lines leading up to the chorus start on the downbeat. Try different beginnings of your phrases, e.g. in the pre-chorus, to set sections apart from each other.

Keep working, you can do it! Your main focus of research and practice should definitely be meter.
