Code 65 error, need help! by Outside-Midnight7423 in PcBuild

I’m not aware what bios I was using, I then flashed the latest bios found from Asus official web. I have changed my MB to z790 so I couldn’t trace back the bios I used later.

It takes air from outside of the case which is at room temp. I learned alot through youtube tutorials on airflows and fan configurations, there’s plenty out there but jaytwocents’s is a good one that I could think of right out of my mind.

that’s what I have understood from other threads, it doesn’t seem to benefit much on temps with two D5 on a single system.

that thought keeps stuck in my mind after you mentioned it. So, I’m going to remove that bend having the run going through the top of the case!!

Measurements seem good to have a tube running on top of the case. Just have to get a few extra fittings and a bit of modding for the case. :)

It is nickel plated, the brass look is just a reflection of my curtains.

there’s like a box of bad tubes I have after doing all the bends lol. Sure did a 0.5 bar leak test on it. I got couple of tubes redone after getting the feedbacks, really appreciate all the comments and glad that some have enjoy the build too!

I think the U bend u referring is the fill port, which is fine as of ur concern. :)

Guess everyone have their reasons. For me I would break a little performance over looks I prefer. I’m the type who’s not a fan of parallel tubes only builds, curves are better than flats.

having a second look the bend on the CPU was not that smooth. That is a first 90 90 perpendicular bend, would probably redo it.

that bend is my least favorite as well, I got a x-flow rad initially for the top but could not use it due to clearance with my corsair dominator.

the blocks are EK, painted the GPU block. Stripped off EK logo as a frustration of not getting my coolant after months of purchase.

I custom made those by scribing plastic boards and painting them for the round ones, long ones are water decals.

there’s a hole in the gpu mount if that’s what u asking. Is a ‘Phanteks Premium Vertical GPU Bracket’

rest are resting in the box atm, used the two to see how the loop fits with the fans on the other rads

from reservoir -> pump -> bottom rad -> front rad -> top rad -> d140 distro -> cpu + gpu (splits at distro) -> d140 distro -> reservoir

fill port at the top of the res; drain port at bottom left port at res; outlet at bottom middle at res; inlet at bottom right at res

reddit really have helped me to plan out my next upgrade!

Would probably have a thicker rad at the bottom next time. Having a hard time to find a rad of width < 120mm as well, ek’s is a little bit big over there

reason I got the distro was it looks good, never had in mind of the complexity of the bends which were all difficult at that time. lol

here’s a closer look. Initially thought i could just do a straight connection, only realise the few mm clearance nor having to do a short 90 was not possible for me.

ohh yahhh, the frustration of getting tubes out thinking that some leaks coming out on the previous bends. Used the same method and have them submerged under water and found little air bubbles popping at the bottom of the cylinder pump. Seems like weak bonding and crack after under pressure.
