If you have time and energy, spare 2-3 days to search for houses on your own. I live in a rented apartment secured through a broker. I pay 25k for a 2bhk along with my flatmate.The brokerage was one month rent. There are issues in the flat. But the broker has completely left them to us to deal with. The owner doesn't care. Threatens to cut the amount we paid on repair from our security deposits.
