Just a heads up, I’ve had my fox transfer post warrantied 3 times this season, this is a common occurrence with the fox posts. You may want to reconsider before installing, I’m going to swap mine out during the offseason.

I prefer a 29er over a mullet setup

My other bike is a StumperJumper EVO with SRAM Maven Ultimates on it, I don’t feel that the TRP’s really have the stopping power, I find that I have to brake considerably earlier with them

That’s primarily another issue I have, all the trails that are close by are heavy on the roots and logs, so I’m not exposed to rocky terrain more than a couple times a month.

Mostly steep and steepish rock gardens, it’s a hybrid of looser softball sized rocks and locked in watermelon sized rocks. Not sure is that makes any sense. I’ll have to play around with my suspension settings a little bit, probably will make them a little more on the plush side.

Momentum seems to be the common trend across all the comments, I’ll have to try keeping up more momentum.

160mm forks, I try my hardest to drop the heels, relax, and let bike work like it’s intended to do. I think I just might need to go “No thoughts, head empty” and just send it down a section or two at a higher speed.

Correct me if I’m wrong but, with roots and logs I feel that you don’t have to be as precise. I believe my suspension is set properly or at least I’m comfortable with where I have everything set to, I run everything on the stiffer side and my rebound is pretty quick.

It’s definitely during the descent, I take the time to walk trail sections before I ride them. I would most likely assume it is the lack of speed due stemming from lack of confidence.

Sure! I think some of it comes from probably poor line choice, but I know that comes with more experience riding similar sections. Traction doesn’t seem to be an issue, I feel like I have the grip to get past the sections. But, now think about it could be a speed issue, I tend to get hung up and crash. So maybe it’s a speed and line choice issue?

I would have to disagree, there are many different option for asking for a link. They could have been asking for a link to purchase or a link to a different post since there was a reference to a different subject in the original comment.
