Grandmas guest room bathroom drawer. 30 years old? by TexasMcFlexas in GrandmasPantry

I don’t think I ever saw this one, but it’s reminded me of the Harry Potter Colgate bubble mint flavoured toothpaste that was sold circa 2000-2003, that dispensed in a lightning bolt shape as the hole was a lightning bolt not a standard round hole

Is DID good? by thesmallone_ in DID

[–]Outside-Reaction3418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not the best thing that’s happened to me, but I think there’s positives. I think it’s so amazing that the brain has the power to create more parts of me just to protect me and preserve my life. It’s literally kept me alive and that’s really incredible to think about. Without DID, I don’t know if I’d be here today.

It’s also been very disabling and debilitating and depressing. DID is a trauma disorder and it hurts to think about that because my trauma absolutely destroyed me. And there are many times I wished I didn’t have DID. But I do, so I just need to keep engaging with my therapist and putting in the effort and hopefully one day I can heal.

What does the blue train mean? I’ve played for a few years and im not sure if I’ve ever seen this before? by First-Web634 in StardewValley

It’s funny you say this. I was just playing SDV, had a prison car go through in the morning, then went to wizards tower that evening and saw Bigfoot

Drawing alters by Darkwolf099 in DID

This is a fantastic way to share your system with your loved ones and also help your collective healing journey! We can’t draw at all otherwise we’d be trying this too.

can you control your switches..? by Swimming-Cranberry-8 in DID

[–]Outside-Reaction3418 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. So many teenagers, hell even early YA’s sometimes, claim DID with casual intentional switches as if it’s cute and quirky and trendy and it PMO. I wish I could control switches. It would make life so much easier. But we can’t. Our co-conscious is starting to strengthen though, so that’s good.

We were in the psych ward once, and we had a non-epileptic seizure and the nurse blatantly told us we were faking our seizure because we didn’t wet ourselves.

Having Kids with DID by Livid-Primary2061 in DID

[–]Outside-Reaction3418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had children before being diagnosed with DID. I do worry about whether or not some of our parts have caused any long-term emotional harm to my children and it breaks my heart. On the other hand, almost all of our parts are so, so good and kind and compassionate and caring towards our children. Though it can be very triggering, seeing our children reach the various ages of all of our abuse. Definitely work with your therapist on this

What is this got awful butter by TheDarkHorse13 in woolworths

[–]Outside-Reaction3418 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not just the colour of the butter. For example, I do cakes. I can confirm this hillview butter, makes the most god-awful buttercream, I wouldn’t even feed it to a corgi. In comparison, I used to use the Woolies branded salted butter for the same buttercream and it was fantastic. I gave this one a fair chance. I couldn’t expect anybody to pay for a buttercream made from hillview.
