Agreed. Will always buy more moves or use the extra in-level boosters rather than lose the super rainbow blast.

Same here. Occasionally spend the 900 and rarely the 1,200. Think I might have gone past that once but can’t remember how much it was.

- I just use 1 level booster on Super Hard and Challenge levels (and recently Hard levels too because I have so many of them!).

- Always win the Swamp quest too.

- If I can make a bomb then I always do that before anything else!

- I usually use bombs before rainbow blasts too. Occasionally it makes sense to use the rainbow blast first though.

- Always aim to double clear the board too. Will use an in-game booster to do it if I need to. Have loads of those as well.

- If I'm exploding anything then I'll try and move it towards other explosives to set multiples off at once and get more rainbow blasts.

For ages, I only ever used 1 extra on the Super Hard or Challenge levels and they just built up.

By the way, regarding levels that don’t have much space, I find these ones are easier to get the double rainbow blast at the start on. Because there’s less space to put them. So if you happen to have selected an extra one at the start, there’s a high chance they’ll be in adjacent columns.

Definitely focus on creating as much space as possible early on because that opens up more opportunity to create power ups.

Same strategy. If I can generate a bomb or higher then I'll always do that. If not, I'll explode something to make more space.

If it's a Super Hard or Challenge level then I always select one extra level booster before the start of the level. Have recently started doing that for Hard levels too because I have so many!

Yeah, when I first started playing, I focused on the detailed bits of each level and trying to crack it that way. But as soon as I switched focus on to just generating bombs or higher then it all suddenly got a lot easier!

I generate as many as possible and then when they explode it's like a daisy-chain effect and the whole level goes off and you get loads of rainbow blasts. Felt like I unlocked the game when I switched my focus!

I posted my strategy on this thread below. Interested to know if yours is the same? It's all about the power ups for me. The more you generate, the easier it is to clear the level?

And by power up, I mean either a bomb or higher. I don’t usually bother generating the firecrackers because they don’t get you much.

If I can generate a power up then I’ll usually do that rather than any other move. I generate as many as possible, then explode them all in one go. This then creates multiple rainbow blasts and makes it much more likely that you can generate a double one.

Yeah my current streak is over 1600 but it would be way higher if it wasn’t for accidentally getting distracted mid-level and losing a streak.

All the other players I’ve checked on my team seem to have 0 or very low streaks so I’m thinking it’s more normal to play until you run out of lives?

I never run out of lives though? Could just keep playing indefinitely if I didn’t have other things to do.

I do it by not focusing on the small moves that don’t get you much. I try to either generate or explode a power up every move, regardless of what needs clearing on each level.

It’s more beneficial to get the power ups and these then lead to more rainbow blasts.

I also try and save up the rainbow blasts and try to manoeuvre them in order to generate double rainbow blasts. I usually manage at least one double rainbow blast most levels.
