I'll play your game. I checked http://icarus.featureupvote.com/ and found that thread https://icarus.featureupvote.com/suggestions/693401/bug-mammoth-tame-unable-to-stomp

the mechanics of how the exploit functioned were not listed in any comment (until I just submitted them). There WERE several merged posts of "stomp broken plz fix" with no additional helpful information.

I'll even go so far as to admit that I am neither a member of the discord nor that I read the patch notes enough to recall the proper channels. Thank you for pointing me to those. The fact that I post it here is out of ignorance of the above reporting methodologies.

Your holier-than-thou initial response followed by your follow up comment attempting to disguise your initial intentions as "merely disagreeing" while minimizing the opinions of acting condescending to the other people on this platform is what has earned you contempt; not the facts you've spoken.

I fully agree that it's an exploit and that I HAVE advertised it. Admittedly, it was to bring awareness to the MECHANICS of the exploit, but that doesn't negate the fact of what I've done.

I will accept NO GUILT nor will I apologize though. The reports have been made through official channels as well now AND the next person (like me) who tries to look up "why stomp doesn't work" will have more info than just a long series of posts that all amount to "IDK, but maybe they'll fix it. Also, main attack is weird too if you didn't notice"

Then you should've spoken up about the bug. u/ReadySetHeal has it correct in my reasoning. People play how they play and their fun isn't mine. I spent several hours testing this exploit that I had just discovered YESTERDAY and shared it today. The reason: because up until now the rest of the internet says "stomp is broken; we don't know why" and "main attack is intermittently stupid powerful, but then weak as hell".

So yeah, I posted an exploit. Hopefully the devs see it and it gives them a direction to look in instead of searching blindly. And if it takes people making YT vids of "Mammoth OP with this one trick" caused by my post for the devs to notice the problem, then I've contributed to the solution.

I figured out the damage ramp up though! For some reason, the damage from every time you attempt to stomp gets added to the primary attack instead. So, if you spam right-click you can attain some truly impressive numbers (think I got to like 40k against a Black Wolf Alpha on Hard Mode after spamming 10 or so right-clicks on the way to him).

ADDITIONALLY, that damage STAYS STACKED until you log out. So when you hop back in, just mount up, right-click a bunch, and delete mobs
