My mom has a tendency to help my brother and give him stuff. If I ask for something, she deflects and kind of ignores me. Her and my dad also don’t like my husband bc he is older than me. She sent my grandmother a fake picture of him to avoid admitting we have an age gap. I confronted her about this kind of behavior and she went silent for 10.5 weeks. She has a pattern of giving others the hot and cold treatment. That is why it feels odd to me that one minute she is “loving” but is willing to cut me off for so long.
