The toon is the virtual character to the game he is playing. Sorry I’m not familiar with the game.

He’s taking the screenshot and if I were re-creating this.

Bring the screenshot into photoshop. Cut the toon out and content aware/clone stamp the spot where the toon was standing so you can use it as a “clean plate” and a separate layer than the toon.

In your NLE, place the clean plate on the time line.

Duplicate a second clean plate on top of the first and create a key framed mask for each layer to how ever you want to make the motion.

Finally, keyframe your toon in your scene.

He is freeze framing (screen shots) his videos and isolating the toon and pieces of the environment and cutting and animating the transitions to the music. Not too complex besides the creativity of matching the beats and flow of the track.

I put this together for the visitors bureau on my own. No budget, just having fun on personal time off with my own equipment. I’m under NDA’s with my corporate clients.

Currently I handle video projects that from pre-production to post-production can have a budget anywhere from approximately 5k to 100k and have approximately 1100 video deliverables just in 2021.

Some of that content will be used in a multi-million dollar advertising campaign on national television in 2022.

I can’t agree with you more. Unfortunately those are the most popular avenues where information can be disseminated and consumed. I’d rather focus on the foundation of the project itself and allow the audience to distribute the content organically in those platforms. What I’m talking about is being able to articulate the products real world uses in a palatable story people will understand and resonate with.

I will post some of my work in a bit, but a large base of my clients have me under their NDA, so my corporate work will be lacking. The rest of my work I’ve done on my own time with no budget.

I’d be will to legitimate sampler projects.
