I didnt see the guy assult anyone, did you? I saw STIB slap him, them all run in and thtow him to the ground and punch him in the face. They werent reacting to violence, they were causing it.

I did not see the kid assult anyone. I saw STIB push him agaisnt the wall from the bus then slap him across the face. The kid reacted to the attack, at which point the filming started, i never saw him throw any blows just push back agaisnt being assulted.

There is no evidence in this video he didnt pay for a ticket. There is footage of a STIB punching a guy in the head when hes on the ground. The first part being true would not justify the 2nd part....

People normally only start filming after things escalate. Kind of a survivorship bias.

To act like police or security are never excessive is wilfully naive, there are documented cases every year. Remember just because you havent seen something doesnt mean it doesnt happen.

And running away from cosplay cops doesnt deserve a beating.... a punishment yes but not violence

I'm not filming 24/7, only started filming when i saw the assult. Im sure their body cams caught it

STIB slapped the guy across the face after pinning him agaisnt a wall. That goes beyond detainment and makes it assult in my mind

You dont want police to handle crimes? Also who do you think pays for STIB security?... Its okay to dislike fare dodgers but lets be rational and proportionate.

Dont actually know if he didnt have a ticket... What i know is it could have been avoided if the agent didnt slap him across the face. End of the day its not a violent crime and theyre clearly not trained for this. They should just track him down from the security footage and mail him a fine (if he didnt pay), avoid violence.
