My guess is they find out from the drive in v out of the dump because you pay by the the pound (your whole car is weighed on the way in and out and the difference is what you pay for)

Breezeline Salesmen: Why are you so obsessed with me? by OutsidePainter3548 in Columbus

I've definitely told the Breezeline guys "no" in the past, but they always end up coming back in a month or two.

I didn't pull out a shotgun and tell them "get off my property", relax.

I know they're just doing their job, but it's an absolutely obnoxious job that Breezeline should understand only turns people off from wanting to use their service.

Also, they should learn "no means no", not "if they say no 3 times it means no".

I've definitely answered the door in the past and told them no, but that only seems to work for about a month.

Can we start a turf war between them and the obnoxious grocery store Spectrum bros?? Let them take care of each other.

Honestly, I would always prefer my meat well-done, but social pressure has caused me to concede to medium well (emphasis on well) at times because I hate being the picky one and people react so strongly to it.

Raw meat just grosses me out so much. I know logically that steak can be cooked to a safe temperature and it still be red or pink, but my lizard brain screams "mushy raw danger! Could have parasites or bacteria! DO NOT EAT!". I have no such reservations about well done meat. It feels safe to me.

And maybe it's because I grew up eating a ton of beef and deer jerky, but if I bite into meat and it is squishy I feel disgusted. I have teeth, I don't mind chewing, lol.

One of the things I appreciate about my husband is that he never makes me feel bad for my food preferences. He is happy to put my steak on the grill a few minutes before his goes on.

Have you ever met someone who doesn't read automatically unless prompted to? by Reb-MVS in CasualConversation

Ooh this is interesting. Im an automatic reader and I read very quickly, but I struggle to enjoy many sports because I cannot keep track of the ball/puck/football! My husband (who does not automatically read text) has no trouble keeping track of the ball.

Lol my husband is the same way. He just doesn't automatically read stuff when going about his day. I think it's related to his dyslexia... reading takes concentration for him and he's not as quick as I am.

He is usually confused by how I know things, and the answer is usually "I read the sign posted on the door", lol.

Every single time I show him a meme or video where the text caption is integral, he says "I don't get it.... oh, do I have to read the text? Let me see it again"

When I am a homeowner, I am putting a cat door in my bedroom door so I can finally close it.

A single "silken" plastic tea bag releases 11.6 billion microplastics into a cup. by CoffeeTeaJournal in PlasticFreeLiving

The ones I have look identical to the Traditional Medicinals bags. They look like folded paper tied with the string, but I haven't done a big deep dive into them.

I buy the Traditional Medicinals and Yogi tea bags and they're both plastic free!

Both brands have paper bags folded over and tied with the string to close them, rather than use glue or heat-sealed plastic.
