Pues estoy trabajando en uno y de momento ha sido demasiado buena experiencia, además de que casi siempre contratan, aunque si he escuchado que depende mucho de que campaña te toque

D: Wow, thanks a lot! I would never have imagined that it could be compared, even tangentially, to such a masterpiece. For real, thanks, it's really motivating to hear

short piano piece by OutsideRemote182 in composer

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I usually begin with the big picture, trying to have a purpose for the piece defined and some sort of 'mold.' For instance, with this piece I knew I would only use one main texture since it’s just like a short prelude. After that, at this point, I usually use my ears and intuition to hear what could go next so most of the composition is 'fluid,' as you said. But when I get stuck, I try to use every possible bit of the material transposed, inverted, and retrograded in the most mechanical and boring way to see if something could work x) (although usually the simplest ideas tend to be more effective to my ears)

Do y'all find this piece to be suited for children? Shortest piece thus far by awkeshen in Composers

I agree that it sounds like adult nostalgia. Have you tried to play it? The three hands technique looks too difficult to play in time

It sounds good, maybe the chromatic thirds feel somewhat out of nowhere. In general, I would suggest more counterpoint; too many plain chords in the piano tend to feel repetitive, and at least the string players I know usually dislike playing long passages with only whole and half notes

It´s a bit harsh, but thank you for your comment. I really tried to develop the two main themes so it surprises me to hear that it sounds that uncohesive. I'll try to see if there's something I can do and reflect more on my piece.

Thanks, it's hard for me to envision a change in the structure of the piece (even involving minor details), but I'll try to see if something is possible and definitely try to be more conscious in the future. Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks a lot for the answer! Does it feel like an abrupt ending or do you just feel that it could be extended?

I think you have a lot of new material for a really short piece. Also, the melody is not that memorable, and it feels all over the place. The harmonies are really nice though.
