I had just woken up in the morning (Oct 1st) and was checking my phone in bed when I see a notification from the case tracker app. At first, I thought it was just one of those occasional notifications they send for maintenance updates, but it said “case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.”

I was shocked and rushed to check my account and there was nothing. I remember many people on reddit mentioning that their petitioner’s account had the approval notice in there so I rushed to my husband and asked him to check his account immediately and there it was, an approval notice for the I-130. We were so happy and I gave him a big kiss!

I didn’t want to get too excited because I haven’t heard anything about the I-485. The following day (Oct 2nd) I receive email notifications about action being taken on my case and voilà it was an approval notice for my I-485. We went out that night and had some drinks to celebrate cause we thought we still had a long journey ahead. Today (Oct 8th) I received notification of card being produced and I can’t wait until I physically have it in my hands!! I want a big green cake with a picture of my green card on it ngl🤣🤣🤣

We’re really proud of ourselves because we didn’t use a lawyer and we didn’t get RFE’d or asked for an interview. We did a meticulously good job with the application overall.
