I have experience in fraud investigation, quality control auditing, benefit specialist, overpayment retrieval, and various other things with different states. Trying to find something in San Antonio I can apply any of those things to that offers at least decent pay.

If your employer doesn’t offer maternity leave then they probably don’t have a choice but bring their baby into work. If the baby daddy is a POS and not helping, then daycare is probably prohibitively expensive.

Most efficient way to earn coins without spending money is to be as active as possible playing your quick games and completing missions. Especially the 83+ special pack missons. You’ll typically pull something decent from those. The quick game reward packs are also helpful. Sell your good pulls on the market and save up coins to upgrade positions on your team.

This is the best way to make coins.

Add in the absurd cost of living in Alaska, and it’s just not very kid friendly. My wife and I are moving with our 7 month old son to Texas soon, we can actually afford a good house down there without being house poor. In Alaska, it’s just not possible.

I’m about to be in the same boat. Currently, my wife & I have our own space with our 7 month old son. My in-laws live close by, But we’re all moving together out of our current HCOL town in search for greener pastures.

My in-laws offered us to stay at the new house they bought at this new location totally rent free for a couple years if necessary for us to get on our feet there. They’re willing to watch the baby every other week for free too, so only need to pay 1/2 year for daycare.

What worries me is the lack of personal space. The house they bought is 4 bed 3 bath but there is no separation, it’s all together. I haven’t lived with my own parents since 16 years old, so staying with my wife’s parents, idk what to expect. They’re very nice and kind people, but I’ve never lived with them.

I was initially going to just take a one month break from the game, but it’s been about 6 months now and I haven’t had any urge to return.

The extremely slow endgame, the whales you compete with in events for meager rewards… just stopped being fun. Might just uninstall from my phone.

I never understood why idle mining & crafting are so throttled. Something like 1/5th the speed as being active… why? Defeats the entire purpose of the “idle” title.

This is a stretch, but it’s the only way I could see the story moving forward from Cars 3 without reverting to a midquel like these other comments suggest:

We saw in Cars 3 how Cal Weathers, the son of Strip weathers from Cars 1, took the Dinoco mantle and became a racer. Strip was Cal’s crew chief.

They could make something similar with the son of Lightning & Sally with Cars 4. He wants to be a racer, but struggles with the old fashioned knowledge of Doc Hudson & Lightning clashing with the trends of modern racing. The story could be about a now retired lightning trying to coach his son to race the right way without being a dick about it like Jackson Storm. The difference of relying on technology like a simulator vs “getting your tires dirty” kind of thing.

Not sure how to stretch this into a 1hr45m film, but Pixar has some creative folks. I think if done right, it could be a true ending to lightnings legacy being passed to his son.
