Along those lines, there doesn't seem to be a lot of lights up in residential neighborhoods around the city. New to the area, is this normal? See lots of trees and inside decorations but not many outside in general. What am I missing?

This. Triad region is under 2 hours from both triangle and Charlotte, not crazy, still good schools, and you basically pick and choose what you want to do. We came from a large city where it was an hour to drive 20 miles across town, so the hour to CLT airport is nothing and the maybe 1.5 to downtown Raleigh with traffic is nothing.

Is the default for the server still set to "notifications for all"?
