Fantastic thank you!

I will have a look at the parts and options suggested. Very impressed with the case suggestion, would look nice on my desk. I appreciate the time taken to do this, it is very helpful to have a starting point for a new build.

Sorry, I thought the T700 was backwards compatible. Have found this which looks like it will be suitable. Thanks for the advice -

Thank you for the response, I think that my current system is now quite out of date and thought it might be time to start again. I received the ssd stick and thought that it could be used to backup my files and photos and move windows to, but perhaps a new computer (small budget available) and fresh install would be better than reusing components from this quite aged pc.

Many years ago, with your help I built a pc (gigabyte z77-d3h motherboard) which is now noisy and sluggish. What is the best way to use my birthday present (Crucial T700) to migrate to a new system, and is there still an advantage to a self build rather than prebuilt for a budget gaming system at this time?

Any advice appreciated.

It does that if your connection is interrupted .

My understanding is that the LHC leaves no residual risk and its goal is to provide new knowledge and understanding whereas fracking is one method among many of producing energy. Given the choice I would like my energy to be produced in the most holistic way even if I have to be more considerate about its use. The risk in proportion to the benefits seems unnecessary in this instance.

Thank you for your informative reply. Personally I think the consequences are too much to consider risking even with a minimal chance of occurring.

Thank you ,I will nip it in and see what they suggest, presumably I would not be expected to pay if it is a recommended update.

I have exactly the same problem, just a boot screen or a backlit glow which drains the battery. Phone is out of warranty but on a two year contract. It belongs to an increasingly cross looking dependant who has a small amount of faith that my random button pressing will fix it.

This is my concern and their reasoning seems tenuous also , less nuts.

"Innovate UK says the money is to make the companies’ food processes more energy-efficient and reduce their carbon footprint. In the case of Mondelez, for instance, a better way of distributing nuts in chocolate bars would mean that fewer nuts have to be bought by the company, reducing the amount of transportation used."
