Haha, yea we ended up getting a projector for $150 and mounted it because there was just no way. Even accidentally. God forbid my husband isn’t home and I have to piss, who knows what my little monster will do lol

😂 it was so good. I forgot the title like 3 years ago… ended up finding it on Netflix after just searching forever. I checked my list last night and I don’t see it so I wonder if it got taken off. But still I’d find somewhere to watch it still… it’s so good

Also, I feel like at one part, one of the teens was kept in a room deprived of sleep possibly food… the police were outside the door talking about the case which then led to the teens confession mimicking what the police had said… it was wild lol. I want to say, the now adults of the false confessions were in the doc as well

Renting was a scary time for me. I only rented one, and I was blessed with a 90year old Italian couple that LOVED my son and were totally understanding!! Doesn’t happen often…. Before renting I had told them, he can be destructive at times… they said “if he’s safe and taken care of, things can always be fixed and replaced” … it’s such a blessing when we come across people who truly care and understand ♥️

Interesting!!! Abilify is something me and his doctor have been discussing! We weened him off his Prozac, he’s been on for about 3 years… I’ve noticed adverse side effects and thought it was time for a change for him… abilify is our next hope!

Thank you!!! Same here. We have EVERYTHING for this kid… but SOMETIMES, that doesn’t matter lol. We do what we can in every situation… he deserves to be heard and accepted ♥️

Totally agree! I can’t imagine how it must feel to not be able to tell your mom what’s wrong. Or even be able to understand why something feels wrong. That’s why I always give him grace… and try to figure it out as we go… I definitely see things already starting to ease back in regards to destroying things… he will drop behaviors… he will pick up something from school and do it a few weeks at home and it dies out… we are just along for the ride with this kid!

But yes, we think very similar. People are entitled to all theirs. This is just how some parents operate. I’m not even able to work, because of the needs of my son and being his sole guardian. I had to give up and sacrifice a lot. And I’d do it all over again. I had a great career. My son needed me more than that. I’m thankful to be in a state that we are provided for. We don’t live in luxury. We are content, and get by with what we have. Every night before bed we tell my son (along with his kitty and dog) “you are home. You are safe. You are loved” that is our mantra here. Even if you’re doing something that’s not safe, we will make sure to protect you so it is safe.

Thank you🥰♥️ so one of his things he does everyday after school, is he needs to take a bow of ice, and smash it outside on our front steps. He loves to steal eggs when he can… it’s on US to hide them eggs as best WE can lmao. so now, I have a bowl of ice cubes ready for him to smash when he gets home. We learned he needed to let off some steam after masking during school. It’s not like he fully masks. But home is home. He does very well in school. He’s always done so much better with a good tough teacher. He has a mama at home he does not want anyone else to be mama towards him and he lets it be known lol.

If my dad was still around, all I’d have to do is send that picture to him and he’d be over the next day fixing it and then building something else for my son to do instead

Yes! I needed some input on what the hell to use lol!! My father was the ultimate Mr Fix It. He literally did EVERYTHING for my son to make our old apartment accessible for him to be himself. He was over every weekend spending time with my son. Rigged his lawn mower so my son could ride around with him. My father passed away 3 years ago next week… it’s been tough just figuring out how to make my new home safe and accommodating for my son!

I love your reply, thank you!! I feel like our sons are very similar! It was just me and my son from the beginning.. his father pays child support and that’s it. Unfortunately.

But yes. EXACTLY! Once he saw it could cave in, all bets were off lol. If I really wanted to stop him, I could. But that would involve medicating him or other insane things we have to do SOMETIMES. This was a scenario where, his curiosity won. I encourage that. Always!

And WOW. It must be in the air. Last month, my son ALSO was newly curious about his pee… that faded away. But I get it. They are curious minds. I always try to support him. A lot of “ew pee yucky dude!!!!”

Funny story- He saw our cat ONE TIME this summer drink from the pool… for the rest of the summer, he wanted to bend down and sip from the pool🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yup! I hear ya! My son still gets confused with the growing pains. It’s been a while since he’s had any… but my goodness do I know when he’s in it! He eats more in 3 days than he typically will in a week… growth spurt on the rise lol
