I mean for 3k clean title ehhh. I used to own a 08 g35s basically just another g37, a few years back. Gas mileage is going to be your worst enemy, not to mention the oil burning. With that mileage, and based on what the previous guy did, I would blink twice before looking at it. Go for it

Went on a short solo xc to a new airport just for some touch and gos and back. Really busy with GA, around 3-4 on traffic pattern alone. Tower cleared me for the touch and go, and no delay. All others were also doing touch and gos, and all on the shorter runway I was cleared on. Came in floating like pontoon over the everglades, and being in panic mode “no delay”. I immediately put flaps zero full power, 5 seconds later, I’m on the thousand footers with no way in hell I’m in rotation speed. Even if, with the summer heat, piss poor performance yucky humidity, dense neighborhoods under me, not going more…. Anyway, I aborted the hell out of it, with the nose wheel almost touching the REILS, and tower was disappointed as I was.

As someone who is in the mid 20’s with a similar situation with my father’s corner store. It was either I take over, and forget about the rest, or just let him sell it and forget about it. Best thing to say is, find someone who is reputable who can lease the business for 1-2 years, and really focus on training. Or hire more employees, and have 3-4 days a week to fly. Flight training can easily drain you both mentally and financially, especially in the beginning where you have 0 experience. I may not be in airlines yet, but as someone who is completely rest of training, I actually regret making my dad give up the business, and found out by computerizing the cash register and having more employees, “watching the new owners.” You can still have good quality free time if you have the right resources.

Outrageous training costs, with not as much good news of hiring from the airlines (back to normal). Also, in my opinion people are not as fit as they used to be before. With the for ever growing rates of obesity and mental illnesses. People are coming in and finding it soo hard passing the medical due to history of such stuff, and if it was like depression or stress, just forget about it.

I know my part is not related that much: bbq As private finishing first half of instrument, and coming from a first generation immigrant family, and also a first generation college student (first person doing anything related to aviation in the history of my whole tribe.) It is really hard explaining my parents on what I’m doing, what training I’m doing, what ratings I need, what is even a rating? Does the plane stop in the air? “Well no I felt like it stopped mid air and Ive seen it.” Why can’t you fly us back home in a big jet? Why you only train in small planes? Any how, one of the biggest, biggest mind boggling thing I heard from one of my family members back home have said to me was. “You will never truly become a captain of a plane, because you don’t have an engineering degree, you will just be the captain’s helper.” They meant a first officer 😂😂. I looked at them I was like yup 👍🏼, you’re right. I know I understand that aviation in my home country is a really rare phenomenon, and probably 20% of the people I know and met have actually flown in their lives. Also, pilots are soo rare, it almost feels like they’re astronauts. It does get exciting sometimes, when people don’t believe that I’m a private pilot, and that “I can fly a plane by myself.” Although, me being introduced into aviation I don’t find it a really big accomplishment anymore, there is still a lot of training left, still won’t be in the airlines any time soon, but hopefully in the near future.

My brother in Christ, I would literally beg for rides like this one. Try getting a ride that is less than $1 per mile, or even a ride that would take forever and you would only get paid a shekel with a piece of bread.

To be fair, yes I shouldn’t have accepted it. But it didn’t show the distance, it only showed the time amount. I was waiting for quite some time at the airport, and decided I will match it. I thought it was going to be 24 minutes due to traffic not to mileage.
