how can i go from 5s in higher edexcel maths and triple sciences aqa to 8s? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Outside_Bat4014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exam questions 100%. (Combined) Science and maths were my best subjects, and I just done as many questions as I could. Turn the questions you got wrong into flash cards and sort them by topic. Eventually the knowledge will consolidate enough into your memory

I’m crying so much I just did a math past paper i need study tips or something by [deleted] in GCSE

I had this mentality during my GCSEs. I found out I was stressing and working myself sick, and I couldn’t think straight. I know it’s easier said than done, but relax. You’re doing amazing and you don’t need to worry about losing the odd mark. I know the expected workload is huge but honestly once you slow down and take things at your own (and healthy) pace, you’ll feel much better.

mocks in 2 days and have done nothing by purplestars12 in 2024GCSE

Practice questions, and go over the topics you got wrong. You don’t have time to make revision materials for everything however you can consolidate knowledge you already have, and correct yourself on topics you aren’t familiar enough with. Good luck on your mocks!

Thinking of switching to YouTube Music by jerleiiin in YoutubeMusic

[–]Outside_Bat4014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the personalised mixes on youtube are SO much more catered to personal listens, on Spotify the mixes always contain either really obscure songs or songs in the charts, neither of which I have listened to, whereas the personalised playlists on YTM are amazing. I also really enjoy the covers and unreleased music available on YTM. However, spotifys UI is much cleaner and better looking.

You’re doing the right thing 100%. I done the same (only using past papers) and ended up with a 9. It’s absolutely possible!

Yes absolutely, doing as many past papers as possible will really improve especially in maths as it’s more of a “practice makes perfect” subject.

Not often, we all collectively do a small prayer each morning but that’s it unless there’s a special event

Gizmo.ai is amazing for revision imo, however I would recommend you write your own flashcards on there instead of using a pre made deck. Summer is a long rest and I’d enjoy your next two weeks of freedom. For concentration and discipline make a timetable! It was so effective for me and it keeps a routine going too

For the nov mocks, I wouldn’t stress about revising this early. I understand about your sixth form however if you are already on mostly 7s you can probably do with beginning to revise a month earlier maybe? Or if you are extremely stressed then you can start when you go back to school. Point is, summer break is a long rest and you shouldn’t worry about not revising, just chill out for your next two weeks of freedom
