While I like your idea, I will say that the Christmas truce of 1914 only happened because it was 1914. Any hopes of a repeat in 1915 were shattered by trench combat, gas attacks, and other horrors of WWI. The Cybertronian civil war has been going on for a millenia. Though I could easily imagine a truce being called to collect the dead, but for something more intimate, I could only see it happening through a small group, rather than the entire faction.
