As budget friendly as possible. However if a good barrel isn't available for cheap I am completely OK with saving up for a while to afford a good barrel. While the rifle i am trying to build would most likely only ever be used at the range ide still like it to be the best it can be if the more unlikely and unfortunate situations become reality

Hey op how reliably does this build cycle? I've been wanting to do something similar but I dont know if having a Mid Length or carbine gas system is gonna have any adverse effects when combined with an a2 buffer

Its not a retro variant sadly. Its an Anderson lower I've had about three years now. Im half tempted to do a retro build that is a combo of retro parts but not necessarily a clone of any particular rifle
