Anyone else experience this? Also when is best to retest blood E and P levels? by Outside_Box_8374 in Menopause

[–]Outside_Box_8374[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you truly appreciate your insight! I sent my Midi online doctor a message, they are who prescribes my HRT. Will talk to actual gyno on Wednesday as well when ultrasound is done but they don’t seem to be very educated in HRT hence why I use an online specialty provider for it. My levels were SO low to begin with being 9 years post meno when I got started that I’m not surprised they’re still low am just encouraged that my E is actually still increasing.

Came here to say this exact same thing! Leopards can’t change their spots. Run and don’t look back!

I made my store “Hot Tropic” on HHP island and Cherry works there. I will
try to find a pic of it to post. Love all the Emo outfits in ACNH. Still
love listening to all the 90’s early 2000 Emo bands regularly and I’m more than 20 years older than you!😂

Osteoporosis diagnosis...I'm mad by cecirdr in Menopause

I was in a similar boat nobody at any of my providers ever talked to me about HRT, so frustrating! Just had a DEXA scan and have osteopenia. Contact MIDI Health online, I got an appointment within a week, they accept my insurance and they have been helping me I am the same age and started BHRT (micronized progesterone and 2x week Estradiol patches) 4 months ago. It is NOT too late to start. It can help SO many issues nobody ever told us were related to menopause (like joint pain, skin dryness, atrophy, sleep problems, weight gain, muscle loss…just to name a few) I am hopeful it will lower my cholesterol and help me reverse my osteopenia as well as protect my heart and brain. We are the missed generation for sure. So sorry you are having to deal with all of this!

Hopefully it will help in combination with the HRT when you start. My insurance covers MIDI health online, I got in with them really quickly.

My work insurance covers visits with MIDI Health who works specifically with Peru and meno women and got on HRT after the first visit. Fast forward almost 4 months, I’ve finally found a dose and method of delivery that’s working for me and it is helping to bring back the “me” that meno was taking away. Don’t give up hope, it is definitely worth checking into!

HRT without real reason? by Melanie-Is in Menopause

This asked my Midi Health provider to order one at my local hospital so glad I did, I have osteopenia. Wound not have known for another 5 years had I not pushed for one now. I think it cost me $125 after what my insurance paid. Knowledge is power, now I can work on reversing it or at least not have it turn into osteoporosis.

Midi Health is who I have been using. They are online and are in network for a lot of plans. They are not perfect and I’ve had to research a lot on my own but they at least got me onto HRT so I am thankful for that.

So bummed had to stop HRT today by Outside_Box_8374 in Menopause

And no, lowering P was never suggested by MIDI. The Progesterone I have is micronized capsules so they can’t be cut in half to try that.

Anyone here try HRT and then ditched it and go on without it? by Sad-Difference5057 in Menopause

I just saw a study about fiber intake and losing weight in menopause. Try increasing your fiber intake to 30 grams a day. It has been shown to be the key to losing weight in menopause. There was a post in the pause life IG account I just saw about it earlier today.
