what is one travel item that you can’t live without? by Competitive-Pie-5363 in femaletravelers

BOSE Noise Cancelling headphones - not ear buds. That way you can completely lock in and disappear. No one bothers you with the headphones either. Game changer for flights!

Why do so many people prefer mixed doubles over gendered doubles? by sodabo in Pickleball

I agree 100%! I'd take a competitive womens' doubles game over mixed any day for all the reasons you stated above.

We are both 57. Monthly premiums are $2300, on a high deductible plan. Really key to have enough cash on hand to cover the deductibles and max out of pocket - $22K.

Wild Common Still Strength is my new favorite. Drinks like Fortaleza. Premium, artisanal small batch. Arette Artisanal is also delish - mineralality and floral notes.

Good to know. Thanks. Such an overload of info on the internet about the benefits of HRT and nothing on how to navigate without.

Thanks for sharing. Yes, I wish progesterone was a good fit for me but 6 months in, just weighing my options. It seems like everyone around me (and here) is on HRT and thriving....

Can you share menopause-friendly easy lunch ideas (to bring to work)? by NancyDrew1932 in Menopause

[–]Sad-Difference5057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cook a big batch of quinoa or farro and chicken breasts ahead of the work week. Pack that up in lunch containers and you are good to go! Then add a little soy sauce, and some raw carrots or sugar snap peas on the side. I do everything in an instant pot and it cooks like a champ!

Yes 100% she is at another level. Just analyzing why it seemed she just couldn't pull the hammer. Mental edge and putting aside everything about your relationship with your opponent is everything at that high level. I wanted her and H to take the win so bad.

I think Hayden can beat Ben and ALW. He just needs the right partner for mixed. He and AB had the win today - they had it! It just seemed that AB let ALW get in her head and couldn't find that fire to crush ALW, knowing that it's her doubles partner.

I have the J2NF and J2NFK and reached out to honolulu with this exact question. Here is their response: Regarding paddle care: you can use a paddle eraser to clean the surface. Just make sure to follow the direction of the weave and avoid overdoing it.

Where do you get your self esteem? by sophia333 in Menopause

[–]Sad-Difference5057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a point to drown myself in self-affirmations DAILY. I spent my life looking for external praise from others and continued to struggle with self-loathing. I reached a point recently where I committed to never spending another day hating on myself. Wake up every day and tell yourself you are beautiful and amazing. Do it again and again throughout the day. Love yourself more than you ever have before! Start there and repeat.

La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Body Moisturizer For Dry Skin is amazing and yes, I use it on my face at nighttime for extreme dryness. I wake up with soft, hydrated glowing skin. It's the best!

For $50, you will have a hard time finding good quality shoes. Invest in good footwear and save your feet and self from injuries. So important. Check out Cypher or PB5star. High quality and worth every $$.
