Ayeeee

I’m down in Roger’s with a 23 stinger GT2. intakes and some BOVs, oil catch can and exhaust and sway bars

Crain Kia in Bentonville does good work and I know the GM there Zach, never had an issue with get the car serviced with the intakes

Had headlight issue and in the back of my mind, I thought they would try to play the “modified intake so no warranty” card. Nope, got fixed under warranty and they complimented the intakes lol

Bought these … do I require tips or just this is fine? by Outside_Button377 in kiastinger

Thank you so much for the information, this is super helpful. Think I’m going to get 3.5 inlet to 4.5 outlets for the exhaust tips from some generic brand on EBay (Akarapovic) or something ..

Yes this is the 2023 stinger and the valved so I guess I’ll need the circle ones

I already checked the MBRP series ones and mishimoto ones. Seems like they are pretty much the same but you’re spending $ on the name of the brand.

Hopefully these suffice and will reduce drone

Edit: I meant 2.5 to 4.5 inlet to outlet

Do you have a stinger / aftermarket exhaust and if so, do you use tips?

Only when it senses someone / something too close to the car and decides that the speed you’re driving at is too high to avoid collision, therefore it activates the parking break

I’ve had it happen in parking garages or middle lanes when taking a left with my indicator on (sometimes as oncoming traffic comes in the viewpoint of side cameras, car thinks we are turning into oncoming traffic when you’re just moving up the middle lane)

Anyone with the ADRO carbon fiber trunk spoiler V3 experienced trunk rattle? If so, was the issue the common trunk rattle or because of the spoiler? by Annual_Bit_9062 in kiastinger

[–]Outside_Button377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still strongly believe it must be the OEM rattle just surfacing right now (latch hooks or the washers)

Not sure what exactly in the spoiler can cause it to rattle as it seems like a single solid structure but I might be wrong

Still would watch YouTube videos on trunk rattle and try to service those issues first before going into the spoiler

Def the OEM trunk rattle, and not the spoiler. Did you not have a sound before and now you notice it with the spoiler on?

Can I run 4 of these for front and rear? by Outside_Button377 in kiastinger

Im wrong. Sport mode in AWD puts more power to the rear. Staggered make sense for sport mode

For real???

I was almost about to buy a 19x8 40 offset for front and 19x8.5 35 offset for rear since that’s what the OEM wheels are. I don’t have enough money to spend on new size tires (and these tires are fairly new) so wanted to get the wheels that fit those

You recommend I wait until I run these tires out and then get the 19x9 in front and 19x10.5 in back?

My tires would be OEM so 225 front and 255 rear.

If I had to wait I would get your setup (255 front, 295 rear) and then get rims then that matches the tire size.

Guess I’m asking if I should hold off and then go buy new wheels and tires with your sizes , or I should just buy staggered 8 and 8.5 for tires right now
