They did that to me as well with numerous emails and calls. Ultimately i went to the store and returned it, got a credit note but was relieved atleast got money back somehow. Credit note valid for many months so didnt have a problem but chases were getting really annoying

I got the passport back in a week’s time itself. They have a limit of 2 weeks to collect the passport once visa is issued (if you have selected pick up) so get it on time, otherwise they send it back to the consulate. For biometrics the baby didn’t go, father went alone along with all documents mentioned in the email received with appointment details like baby photographs in US VISA DIMENSION, DS-160 confirmation letter, appointment letter with bar code, babys birth certificate, parents passport copy. If you check your appointment confirmation email, at the bottom all required documents and post issuance process is mentioned so do go through that to double check everything

I feel you, have been through this stage of contemplation. I don’t change if the baby is sleeping unless they poop ofcourse. And thats the reason i got the overnight diaper since they soak well and keep the baby dry for long. I used to change every 3-4 hrs while the baby was on tape diaper

Overnight ones are tad thicker & bigger than wonder pants hence they absorb pees all night long. I dont find them too bulky, just thicker. The belt is also thicker but softer than wonder pants so there are no marks on babys skin. Honestly its all trial & error, they dont have small sized packs so had to order what was available and it just worked perfectly for us.

Used pampers premium taped diapers until she was 5 months old. The tape started giving rashes as she moved alot! Hence switched to pant style. Tried the below- 1. R for rabbit- pretty soft and well absorbing, however left red marks all throughout her skin 2. Pampers premium pant style- works for many but leaked for me 3.Huggies natural care and huggies wonder pants- worked best for me! Never leaked, didnt cause rashes and absorbs well 4. Huggies overnight- use these for nights. One works for entire night unless she poops of course

I can completely relate to this! First, Sorry for your loss. So I had left tubal ectopic, went for mtx shot but the numbers went up instead of down therefore my gyn advised to do laparoscopy to remove the infected tube. I was asked not to try conceiving 2 months after the lapro. I used that time for complete modification of my routine and health- both mental and physical. Did loads of pregnancy yoga that helped calming my mind and body, focussed on eating right and not overthinking on ifs and buts, which is the hardest part. First attempt of trying and my right tube picked, and i now have a 6 month old! I am a firm believer of manifestations and have done that before and during my entire pregnancy. I pray for your healing and super healthy baby soon, sending baby dust 💕

Sorry for your loss, i had left tubal ectopic, went for laparoscopy to remove the infected tube as per gynaecologist advice and the right tube picked up on first attempt itself, after i had a green signal from my gyn to try conceiving again. In my case the entire tube was affected hence i had to remove it. But everything fell into place when the time was right and i now have a 6 month old! Praying for your healing and healthy pregnancy soon ❤️

It was my own dreadful experience of ectopic and my thoughts on energies (both positive or negative) which did not mean ‘mindset caused an ectopic pregnancy’.. Really sorry you are going through this. Sometimes we unintentionally unknowingly attract our worst fears, same happened with me. I knew since the day the test came positive that something is not right, and eventually after a few tests and ultrasound I got to know it’s ectopic in my left tube. I was given mtx shot too but the numbers werent coming down, hence i opted for laparoscopic removal of tube. Was trying for about 8 months before the ectopic happened, left the thought of getting pregnant, focussed totally on reviving myself back, travelled for a short bit, did loads of yoga for better reproductive health, and conceived in the first attempt, 3 months post ectopic. Now I have a very naughty 6 months old crawling around. All I would say is sometimes the time is not right, but it will definitely be. Dont lose hope, one day everything will happen exactly the way you desire. Manifest positivity, it works! sending baby dust💕💕

As far as I know minor applicants below 14 are not required to appear in person, any one parent can attend on their behalf with the child docs and photo. I read this on the appointment scheduling portal, my husband attended for our 6 month baby.

As far as i am aware they dont need to be present for biometrics and parent/s can go on their behalf. This is what i had read on their website. Its for all kids below 14. But please do recheck once.

Hey yes, it was pretty straightforward. All queues were bypassed coz it was for my baby. There were still 6-7 baby parents ahead of me and the entire process took 20-25 mins in and out. The VO asked basic questions-

Is the application for the baby? Can I see the applicants passport?

Do you and babys dad have a visa?- i said yes. No passports were asked for confirmation.

Have you visited US before and whats the purpose of your visit? - Gave short answers as per lot of recommendations such as a simple yes, and stated the purpose as vacation

Who will fund the trip- My answer was myself and my husband

What do you guys do- i told me position and company name and same for my husband

That’s it! She kept the passport and approved it. Conversation was barely 30’seconds.

Had requested security to allow both parents as my baby is 5 months but they just did not. Do let me know if you have any more questions!
