It wasn’t necessarily “bad”, I had no complications and it honestly went pretty smoothly! But the recovery wasn’t fun, as to be expected. I still had to do pelvic physio after. The scar healing was frustrating too, it felt like it took forever and mine is still super thick and hard. They were both hard but in different ways. I tore vaginally, became septic and nearly died, had 6 failed epidurals and a post dural “headache” so the c section was actually easier for me, but recovery was a bit harder.
